Ashton court is beautiful historic estate that spans 860 acres. There is a mixture of grassland and woodlands which offer a range of activities including: pitch and putt golf, foot golf, disc golf, mountain bike hire and trail and miniature railway.

Ashton court mansion is situated at the lower part of the estate and hosts events, weddings, markets and parties. Bristol balloon fiesta is also held at Ashton court estate typically during the first weekend of August. This is one of Bristol’s biggest and most famous festivals and includes market stalls, food stands, inflatables, rides, light shows and hot air balloon rides. 

There is a café to one side of the mansion with plenty of seating and scenic views of Bristol. The mansion also has stunning gardens which are free to walk around. There are toilets at the cafe. 

Ashton court is well known for its vast deer park situated to the top of the estate. You cannot enter the deer park however you can walk along the fence and see plenty of deer’s all year round.

There are not many benches or bins on the estate so you will need to come prepared if you want to picnic here and take your rubbish home with you. There is lots of paid parking onsite with 3 main entrances to the park. You can enter the estate from kennel lodge road, off the B3128 and from Rownham hill.
