Bristol's Brilliant Archaeology

Join museum archaeologists and a whole host of local societies, re-enactors, field archaeologists and heritage organisations to celebrate Bristol’s Brilliant Archaeology during National Festival of Archaeology 13-28 July.

Throughout the day, there’ll be tours, demonstrations and displays in the museum and on the lawns outside. Henbury Church, Blaise Castle and Blaise Community Gardens will also be open for the occasion.

There’s plenty for mini archaeologists to do too with mini excavations, weaving, pot-making, face painting and more. You can even try your hand at archery!

Bristol’s Brilliant Archaeology runs from 11am until 4pm at Blaise Museum.

This is a FREE drop in event, so there’s no need to book – just turn up!
