Bristol Christmas Market returns to the city centre from 7 November to 23 December 2025, bringing festive cheer, delicious food, and unique gifts. Spread across Broadmead in the Bristol Shopping Quarter, this free-to-enter market is the perfect place to kick off your Christmas celebrations.

With over 40 alpine-style chalets, you'll find everything from handcrafted gifts to scrumptious seasonal treats. The food offerings include German Bratwurst, Yorkshire pudding wraps, succulent hog roast, and sweet treats like crepes and churros. The kids will love the bubble-blowing fairies and balloon artists, while Santa himself makes special visits throughout December!

Top Tip: The market stalls are open from 10am to 7pm, but the food and bar areas stay open until 10pm – perfect for a romantic evening stroll after the little ones are in bed. Visit on a weekday to avoid the weekend crowds, or go at dusk to see the fairy lights in all their glory.

What's New for 2025? Ski Gondolas and Festive Balloon dining are available for private hire with drinks packages, plus exciting new options in the Jäger Barn Bar. These bookable experiences are ideal for making your visit extra special, though they do sell out quickly so book ahead!

Don't miss St Nick's Christmas Market, held outdoors from Friday 14 November to Wednesday 24 December 2025. This traditional indoor market has over 60 stalls selling unique gifts, fashion, accessories, and delicious food – it's brilliant for finding those special handmade presents.

For a truly magical maritime experience, Beneath the Waves transforms the historic dry dock beneath the SS Great Britain into a glowing underwater world with hundreds of suspended orbs.
