Family Fun Day at Clevedon Lawn Tennis Club...

On Saturday 15th July we are holding a family fun day with a variety of sessions for children and parents. To book your place message Matt on 07788713672 

This event follows our club coaches running a school tennis programme. Clevedon Secondary School have benefited from a number of sessions for their year 7 pupils. Coaches Gemma & Olivia have delivered a tennis day for All Saints Primary School as part of their sports week and Head Coach Matt has run a course for Primary Teachers from across the region to help upskill their tennis delivery. We also had a stand at Yeo Moor Primary Summer Fayre, with children given the opportunity to pick up a racket and play on our mini courts. The next two weeks we are running sessions in more local primaries with the hope of introducing the sport to as many children as possible. All of this is thanks to support from Truespeed, the Bath based ultrafast broadband provider. They kindly agreed to sponsor our school tennis programme and the fun day to join us in our goal of bringing tennis to as many local people as possible.With Wimbledon due to start tomorrow perhaps we can find a future star who might play on the grass courts in the future! 

Saturday 15th July, new & current players welcome: 9am-10am, Family Cardio Tennis, a tennis workout to music for Adults, Parents & their children aged 11+10am-11am, Parent & Child Coaching, an introduction to our coaching programme for children aged 3-8 years 11am-12pm, 

Coaching for ages 8-13 years12pm-1pm, Teen Tennis, a chance for players aged 13-18 years to get on court with friends 1pm-2pm, Parent Play, a chance to play with other parents with our coaching team on hand for some tips and advice Message Matt on 07788713672 to book your place.
