Would you like to visit the SS Great Britain this half term?

Funded by BYCA, Heart of BS13 are offering BS13 families a FREE trip to visit this Bristol landmark, including travel to and from Hartcliffe, and a £5 lunch voucher for each attending child.

Who is this for:
The trip is open to 8-16 year olds and their siblings, and all children must be supervised by an adult. There must be at least one 8-16 year old included in each booking in order for us to meet our funding requirements. The trip is open to BS13 residents ONLY.

What will happen:
You will learn about the SS Great Britain, where it went in the world and who travelled on it; explore the ship on a scavenger hunt; and take part in a themed craft activity. You'll also visit under the ship in the dry dock and / or in the Brunel Museum. There will be an hour long break for lunch and you'll be free to enjoy the harbourside with your family.

What to bring:
Please dress for the weather - some of the day will take place outside on the ship deck. Please bring snacks for the kids and a packed lunch for adults - we can provide £5 for lunch for each child aged 1-16.

Where to go:
Please wait for the coach at the front of the Gatehouse Centre, Hareclive Road, Hartcliffe, BS13 9JN. The coach will leave at 10am sharp and arrive back at 3pm - don't be late!
