Gainsborough Square Park is a well-used piece of green at the centre of some residential homes and community shops. It has a segmented fenced playground consisting of a wide range of different child’s play apparatus and benches. Alongside this the park has a well-built and visually pleasing seating area and a grass-based basketball/netball court. There are paved paths that all meet in the centre of the park and it is an evidently well-kept area. 

There are no public toilets and there is not a car park, but parking is fairly easy on the road surrounding it. Overall the park has a lot to offer for families, friends, sport enthusiasts and for those who  want a simple place to relax.
