Celebrate culture, creativity and community at the International Cultural Festival 2026, a vibrant free family event taking over Sparks Bristol and Broadmead this June.

International Cultural Festival 2026

  • Date: Saturday 6th June 2026

  • Location: Sparks Bristol, Broadmead, Bristol
  • Price: Free entry

Organised by Global Goals Centre and supported by Bristol BID, Community Fund and Bristol Community Festival, this joyful celebration of culture and connection marks the launch of the Bristol Refugee Festival 2026.

Families and visitors can enjoy a packed day of live music, dance, workshops, crafts, food and performances from communities and artists representing cultures from around the world.

What to Expect

  • Live African drumming and singing
  • Latin American dance performances
  • Flamenco workshops
  • Interactive music sessions
  • Fashion show featuring outfits from around the world
  • Global arts and crafts market
  • Worldwide food stalls and desserts
  • Creative workshops and family activities

Family Activities

There will be plenty for children and families to enjoy throughout the day, including:

  • Face painting and body art
  • Drawing workshops for all ages
  • Children’s arts and crafts corner
  • Chinese calligraphy workshops
  • Polish folk art activities
  • Textiles and embroidery workshops

Highlights from the live programme include performances and workshops from Pax Productions, Latin Folk, Arona Lo, Silvana Costa and Mossie-Issie, alongside the official launch of the Bristol Refugee Festival.

All events will be supported by BSL interpretation to help make the festival welcoming and accessible to everyone.
