Mini-Museum Hunt! 50 Years of Aardman

Get ready for a fun family museum adventure as a little bit of Aardman magic arrives at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery.

Created to celebrate Aardman’s 50th anniversary in Bristol, this interactive mini-museum hunt invites families and visitors of all ages to explore the museum in search of tiny hidden treasures from the world-famous animation studio.

Pick up a detective map and see if you can track down all of the secret Aardman artefacts hidden throughout the museum galleries.

50 Years of Aardman | Event details

  • Dates: 13th February to 13th September 2026 (please note the museum is closed Mondays)
  • Time: 10am to 5pm
  • Location: Bristol Museum & Art Gallery
  • Price: Free, donations welcome
  • Booking: Drop in, no booking necessary
