St Andrews Park

Parks & Walks

St Andrews park is a lovely park within a housing estate. It has everything it needs to attract locals and even has a paddling pool.

The paddling pool in St Andrew's Park, has reopened for the summer season. In a post shared on Facebook group, locals said that they were excited to try it out, with several adding that it was 'looking great'.

The pool, is a firm favourite with families in the area and many visit during the summer. In the past, reviewers say it has been the perfect way to keep kids busy on warmer days, while also enjoying a bite at the nearby cafe.

There is a playground for kids which has swings, slides and a climbing frame. There is a bowls court to the side of the park as well as some toilets. Bowls can be rented from the shack inside the court. There is also a vendor who sells drinks and ice cream.

There are numerous tarmacked paths throughout the space which means it great to walk here even in the rain. There are numerous benches and bins which make it a great place to picnic.

There is no direct parking for the park and parking on the street is very limited. The park is used a lot by the locals as it offers a peaceful place to walk away from the city.
