The Paddling Pool at St Andrew’s Park

The paddling pool reopens seasonally each summer and is especially popular during hot weather. Families often spend hours relaxing nearby while children splash, paddle and play safely in the shallow water.

Many visitors combine a trip to the pool with snacks, drinks or ice creams from the nearby vendor or café area, making it easy to enjoy a relaxed park day.

The pool area is surrounded by plenty of benches and tarmacked pathways, helping make the park accessible for buggies, scooters and family walks.

Playground and Facilities

The children’s playground includes swings, slides and climbing equipment suitable for a range of ages. There is also a bowls court located to one side of the park, with bowls available to rent from the on-site shack.

Toilets are available within the park and there are numerous bins and benches throughout the space, making it ideal for picnics and longer visits.
