The Big Picnic returns to Redcatch Park this June for a huge free family celebration packed with live entertainment, balloon launches, food, community activities and festival fun.

• Location: Redcatch Park, Knowle, Bristol

With the theme “Putting the unity in community”, The Big Picnic brings local residents together for a full day of family fun, celebrating the incredible community spirit of Knowle and South Bristol.

Families can spend the day relaxing in the park, enjoying entertainment, community activities and some fantastic food and drink from local vendors.

What To Expect

• Sunrise and sunset balloon launches
• Live music from midday
• Community stalls
• Sports and fitness sessions
• Kids’ crafts and entertainment
• Food, bar, ice cream and much more

There will also be a special £1 Grand Raffle with the chance to win a balloon flight for two.

Visitors are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, chairs and friends to make a full day of it in the park.

The event is supported by a range of local businesses and community partners and has become one of the biggest free family events in the area.
